Electricity typically costs £0.07 per KW/h and a 1m heating mat rated at 160W/m would cost about £0.0112 per hour to run.A room fitted with a 5m Vysa-Mat™ heating mat rated at160W/m would typically cost about £5.00 a month to run. If Vysa-Pron™ insulation were to be fitted the floor / room wouldwarm up quicker and cost less to run.

Vysa-Therm™ 2600 and 2662 Multifunction Thermostats

The fully programmable Vysa-Therm™ 2600 and 2662 provide 4 daily programmes with separate 7-daysettings for optimal economic operation of yourunderfloor heating system. Supplied complete with floor sensor and rated 16Amps to control floor temperature, room temperatureor both room and floor temperatures. 

Vysa-Mat™ underfloor heating mats are manufactured to the European standard IEC335/EN60335 whichrecommends that a heating mat with a rating of nomore than 100W/m should be installed onto a timber sub-floor.Concrete floors absorb heat at a higher rate thantimber floors, therefore we make Vysa-Mat™ underfloor heating mats with higher output power ratings -160W/m and 200W/m to compensate for this. Wellinsulated constructions to the latest requirements of the Building Regulations need less powerful Vysa-Mat™underfloor heating mats than those built to therequirements prevailing when the building was constructed. Higher output power ratings heat up the room quickerbut do not necessarily use more energy.
